It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the cancellation of the Motherlode AM and Motherlode Pro tournaments. Like you, we would much rather play than not. However, the recent COVID-19 restrictions and uncertainties, associated with the parks (now closed) and the vendor products needed to run a sanctioned event, are too widespread to support essential preparations with confidence at this time. Therefore, we will be refunding all entry fees in the coming days.
Preparing for a sanctioned PDGA event requires an investment in park rental fees, insurance, shirts, discs, raffle items, course maintenance and so much more. These are essential activities and investments that we cannot currently perform with confidence, as scheduled. So we are cancelling, with the hope that a window to reschedule the events will arise, giving us time to properly prepare later in the year. Thank you very much for your interest in this tournament.
